| Prof. Marcel Tanner - honary doctorate |
Prof. Marcel Tanner, director of the Swiss Tropical Institute,
was presented with an honorary doctorate at
the University of Neuchâtel’s “Dies academicus” on
Saturday, 1 November 2008. Other awardees included
Kofi Annan, former UN Secretary-General and co-winner
of the Nobel Peace Prize for 2001.
